BARBARA NIELSEN — Douglas County Clerk, (2003)

Appointed in 2003 and elected to office in 2004, Nielsen is proud of her office's long history of outstanding service to all citizens in Douglas County. She added the Douglas County Elections Division maintains an effective, non-partisan approach to serving Douglas County that has won praise from people of all political parties and pursuasions. The office of county clerk is a nonpartisan office by state law. Nielsen is a Republican.
